Recycling, Global Warming And Solar Power
I had mentioned earlier that I was working on some new sites that were to tie in to Eco Friendly America. I had a bit of trouble getting them set up, due to my lack of experience with PHP. I decided to take it to the boards, and am happy to say that I have them launched today.
The recycling project is near and dear to me. My son is a master recycler and makes me proud. You can visit the site at Recycling at EcoFriendly America.com.
Global warming is something that we should all be concerned with. the thoughts of the planet burning up and being inundated with flooding from the polar ice caps melting keeps me up at night. You can visit the site at Global Warming at EcoFriendly America.com.
Lastly, I have been very interested in the pros and cons of solar power. I think it is a good idea, but living in mid-Michigan and having not seen the sun shine for many days, I have to wonder about the reality of it for everyone as a viable energy source. You can see the site at Solar Power at EcoFriendlyAmerica.com.
As I have said, I like to keep the blog to a readable level. I know from experience that the average surfer has the attention span of a gnat!
Abiding by my world famous 5 minute blog post, I offer these new sites here for you to explore. I would appreciate feedback here on the site if you find them of interest.
Drive on,
Charlie~

Everyone is talking about being Green or eco-friendly these days. Here are some thoughts on how organizing your life is earth friendly:
• When you organize, you get rid of that which you no longer need. If you sell it or donate it, you are recycling. Get rid of what you don’t use and recycle it to someone who can use it. Some great sites for recycling are Craig’s List/free or www.freecycle.com.
• If you know what you already have, you will consume less. People tend to overbuy because they don’t remember already having plenty.
• Many garages are breeding grounds for pollutants which are not only earth un-friendly, but also kid and pet un-friendly. By organizing your space, you can make sure you don’t have anything hazardous laying around. Check with your local government agency to find the nearest hazardous waste disposal site.
• Save a tree – recycle that paper. Most people save/file/pile up way paper that they absolutely do not need. Having organized paperwork will save you stress and most likely a tree or two.
